Workshops Coming Soon

The workshops below will go live and be available to book from 7pm on Sunday 29th March

Two-week ghost making workshop

Join James for a two-part workshop where you'll make ceramic ghosts.

Week 1
In the first session, you’ll learn how to use press moulds to create your own ghost forms, working with clay to build character and personality into each piece. We'‘ll discuss tips for shaping, adding details, and preparing your creations for firing. Between sessions, your pieces will be fired.

Week 2
When you return for the second session, you’ll bring your ghosts to life with colour! You’ll learn techniques for using underglazes and oxides to decorate your fired work.

No prior ceramics experience needed. All materials and firings are included. Come get creative and craft your own ghostly masterpieces!

Duration: Two-week course (3 hours per class)
Cost: £120

Throwing class

Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing in a relaxed, hands-on environment at my studio. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to build confidence on the wheel.

You’ll be guided through each stage of the process - from centring and opening the clay, to pulling up walls and shaping your own forms. Expect a mix of demonstration, guidance, and plenty of time to get your hands dirty and find your rhythm.

By the end of the session, you’ll have created your own pieces to be dried, fired, and glazed, ready to collect at a later date. One piece is included in the price, with any additional pieces available for £5 each.

No experience needed - just bring yourself and a willingness to give it a go.
